Annual NRL Laboratory Network Meeting

The next NRL laboratory network meeting will take place at the Cefas Weymouth Laboratory in October 2021. Participants will include representatives from the NRL, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) and Official Control Laboratories undertaking the microbiological examination of bivalve molluscs.

Annual NRL Proficiency Test Distribution

The next annual NRL Proficiency Test Distribution of whole bivalves will take place in autumn 2021. Official control laboratories that are part of the NRL laboratory network will receive prior notification of the intended distribution date. Any other UK (or other British Isles) laboratories undertaking microbiological examination of official control samples of bivalve molluscs are invited to contact the NRL to take part in the distribution.
