Samantha Stott
SENIOR FISHERIES SCIENTIST
Samantha has expertise in the fields of shellfish stock assessments, fisheries data analyses, technical measures, and the landing obligation. Her work includes providing advice to Defra on technical measures and on the landing obligation. She also provides regulatory advice for marine licence applications for the MMO (England) and NRW (Wales) in relation to shellfisheries.
Samantha has a wealth of experience in international collaboration by carrying out research and providing advice to governments in the United Kingdom Overseas Territories. She has also collaborated with several international scientists through ICES working groups (WGCRAB, WGSCALLOP, WGFTFB).
Samantha has also got experience as a project lead and as a Principal Investigator.
