Biology and fisheries of hake (M. hubbsi and M. australis) around the Falkland Islands

This chapter describes the recent development of and current fishery for hake that occur around the Falkland Islands in the South-west Atlantic. The current state of knowledge of the biology and ecology of the hake in this area is described, as are the methods used to assess the size of the stock and approaches to management.
