Gyrodactylus portlandensis n. sp. (Monogenea) is described from the gills, fins and skin of Thorogobius epphippiatus (Leopard-spot Goby) from Portland castle bay, Dorset, UK. Gyrodactylus portlandensis n. sp. displays a distinctive square shape of the toe region on the marginal hook, which can make identification under light and scanning electron microscopy easier. (Monogenea) is described from the gills, fins and skin of (Leopard-spot Goby) from Portland castle bay, Dorset, UK. n. sp. displays a distinctive square shape of the toe region on the marginal hook, which can make identification under light and scanning electron microscopy easier.
