Growth and reproductive performance of common dentex, Dentex dentex, broodstock held under different photoperiod and temperature conditions

A paper derived from the now-finished joint EC FAIR project with Greece. Males and females were subjected to three different photoperiods. Our laboratory measured estrogen and androgen in the blood. The experiment worked well in terms of shifting spawning time and the steroid results are pretty clear-cut.
