We appreciate the comments from Drohmann. Our article was, of necessity, focused on the stereochemistry of HBCD and its implications for environmental analysis and assessment. It was not intended to be a comprehensive review of all aspects of the environmental chemistry and toxicology of HBCD. We are grateful, therefore, for the opportunity to present additional information on these aspects.
