Myxozoan diseases of fish

This chapter reviews the current literature on myxozoan diseases of freshwater and marine fish. Emphasis is given to those conditions causing serious disease in aquaculture although additional examples of myxozoans affecting wild fish are also provided. Additional sections on diagnostic methods, treatment and prophylaxis and future perspectives are provided.
