Unusual PKD lesion for time of year. Many of the parasite cells are in an advanced state but are not forming spores. A chronic lesion.
Large proliferative cell mass with necrotic areas, parasite cells in abundance in the kidney. Liver shows foci of cellular proliferation only. Spleen shows extensive white pulp areas involving fibrocytes and many parasite cells. Daughter cells in parasites are clearly identified.
