Significance:

Heavy mortalities at the fishery where animals were kept in tanks which were quite heavily stocked. Specimens which were received at FDL were moribund with limbs missing plus other damage to the exoskeleton.

Lession:

Large numbers of Gram +ve cocci proliferate throughout the tissues sectioned, i.e. muscle, gill, digestive gland and heart.
