Evidence that wild fish can be severely affected by PKD. It is a major problem in trout farms. Brown trout generally show less severe clinical signs than rainbow trout.
Marked granulomatous lesions in the spleen, often whorling around the parasites. Proliferation of endothelial cells in some blood vessels - vasculitis.
