Significance:

Unknown. This fish had pale patches on the skin. Treatment with oxytetracycline appeared to help but the fish died 5 days post treatment. The microsporean parasite is likely to have been the primary cause of death.

Lession:

Microsporean cysts embedded in the skeletal muscle. Little host reaction evident.
