Annual meeting of the ICES Working Group for Marine Litter

The ICES Working Group for Marine Litter (WGML) will meet for their annual science meeting in Horta in the Azores, Portugal. The meeting will be hosted by one of the current working group chairs, Christopher Kim Pham, at the Escola do Mar dos Açores (School of the Sea of the Azores) from 5 to 9 June. The group of scientists from countries across the North Atlantic region, including both ICES and PICES colleagues in Canada and the USA, will come together for five days to discuss all things litter! The first half of the week will be dedicated to seafloor macrolitter discussions, while the second half of the week will be devoted to discussions on microplastics.
