Cefas is taking part in the Summer Internship Programme (SIP), which provides paid summer opportunities for university students interested in a career in the Civil Service.
Cefas has ambitions to engage with potential new colleagues from across the talent pool to meet our objectives to diversify our workforce.
An internship with Cefas will see you working on projects supporting our scientific research into a variety of challenges across the marine environment, biodiversity, climate change, food safety or aquatic animal health areas. Your work will contribute to providing evidence feeding into UK government policies.
We would encourage applications from an ethnic minority and socially or economically disadvantaged background.
Applications opened on 8th December and close 22/12/2022.
